After dropping the final two closely-contested games of the Cleveland series, the Birds got a much needed win on Thursday night over the White Sox. Miguel Gonzalez pitched brilliantly before and after running into a minor hiccup in the third inning. Gonzo was backed by three solo home runs on the way to a 3-1 victory.
