1) Had a streak in late July and early August where they lost 13 of 14.

2) Lost games by the scores of 16-5, 13-5, 11-5, 11-1 (twice), 11-0, 10-0, and 9-0.

3) Were shut out 15(!) times.

4) Lost 23 games by 5 runs or more.

5) Were 13-17 on May 9th.

This may not be a team of destiny, they may finish 75-87. But even my favorite O's team of all time had all kinds of bad outcomes on the way to improving by 32.5 games in one season."
